ESPOCH in coordination with the PROGRESSIO Foundation (Chile), Popular Radio Schools of Ecuador (ERPE) and the Sumak Tarpuy Corporation will work for the next three years in the agricultural and productive development of 25 communities in Colta and Riobamba. The objective is to strengthen the food and nutritional security of 304 families who have been affected by the effects of the pandemic.

Ing. Jenny Basantes Ph.D. Academic Vice Chancellor of the ESPOCH, indicated that the link as a substantive function reflects the social commitment of the Institution. "The academy is useful and productive to the extent that it solves the problems of society and through this project we will once again have encouraging results with a great impact and an international projection", he concluded. Thus, this ambitious project will bring together the work of academia, local governments, communities and non-governmental organizations that seek the productive development of the province of Chimborazo.
